The ashram established in 1974 in Mylapore, shifted to Velachery in 1985 where Sri Swamiji has consecrated Adi Guru Dattatreya, Karya Siddhi Hanuman, the Navagrahas, and Sri Rajarajeshwari.

In 1990 the first Healing Music concert in India took place here. 'Sachchidananda Hall' hosts annually, 'Keertanotsavam' with Sri Swamiji's compositions rendered by noted musicians, and interschool bhajan competitions.

Satsang, Ganapati Homa, and Annadanam occur every Sunday and during major festivals. The hospital conducts free medical camps.
